What began as a 3-acre theme park 30 years ago has grown to 14 acres with more than three-dozen interactive activities, including water attractions, whirling rides, an action-packed roller coaster, choreographed live stage shows, furry friends and a musical parade. Sesame Place is located near Philadelphia, in Langhorne, PA.

ReplyDeleteMy son Conner just loves elmo and all of seasame street. He was born at 23 weeks and only given a 5% chance to survice, his Twins brother passed after just 2 weeks. conner is the happiest boy, and has done things that doctors told us he would never do. He is in therapy 4 days a week, as we try to get him caught up and over his issues.

I would love to win tickets. My son loves going and we had season passes last year which was great. However I was just laid off last month with no new job prospects on the horizon yet. I'm a single mom just barely keep afloat and I appreciate how much my son who is 5 understands that there isn't much we can do and not much I can buy him until I do find a new job.

Please, Please, Please pick us!!! I am a stay-at-home mom to 5 children ranging in age from 7 months to 13 years old. (7 month old twins that is) I honestly don't know how I'm going to survive summer break without some really cool day trips for the kids. Since we are only 30 minutes away...and Sesame is great for kids of all ages...this would be perfect! 4 tickets would help make an otherwise unaffordable family trip possible. My husband and I have taken the boys to Sesame Place the last two years. It is a great place full of memories. This year, we are getting divorced, and I lost my job...so I didn't plan our trip. I'd love to take the boys....to let them know that everything in our life doesn't have to change/end.

ReplyDeleteMy kids are 8 years apart, but my oldest, 13 is severely autistic.
This is ONE place where my kids seem to be on equal ground, they have more in common when at SP --and it is a joy seeing them interact like that. Normally there is little interaction and play between them.
Years past I could afford passes, this year I cannot, so It would be awesome if you picked us!
We have a little boy named Zachary who has autism and he just loves Elmo. He doesn't say much, but say the word Elmo and his little face just lights up! He enjoys the outside and water, and loved sesame place. It gets him talking and that is a great thing. Contact info is kelly216@aol.com.

ReplyDeleteI've never been to Sesame Place, and neither have my two kids. I would love to bring them to see the Fresh Beat Band, they love the show and know all the words and dances. I feel like my kids miss out on so many things, because for the past 2 1/2 years I have been treated for a rare Acute Myeloid Leukemia, and underwent a Bone Marrow Transplant as my only chance of survival. I am now just about to celebrate my 2 year anniversary of my transplant, and my Oncologist has finally given me the official "okay" that I can go to theme parks and public places again this summer. I want to give my kids the best summer ever. My daughter Luciana is 2 and has never gotten to experience a theme park, Sesame would be the best adventure for her. My son Adrian (6) has been a trooper during my treatments and recovery, and he deserves a fun family vacation for the first time in years.
